Behind the Coffee- Staff Profiles:
Nick Holzherr
(Co founder of Co-Go)
Nick tried his first cup of coffee at the young age of just 5, as his mother seriously loves coffee. When he started University he started to crave the caffeine and his love of coffee grew. Nick studied International Business and Modern languages at Aston University which is where he met Simon. He always wanted to set up his own business and with Simon he is now also the joint director of QRKY. http://qrky.co.uk

I’d be a Snakey B because I like to get myself involved with everything (and snakey B spills everywhere?)

Simon McCann

Simon seriously loves coffee. A normal human is made up of between 65-90% water, with Simon the water is unquestionably substituted for coffee. During their time at University he and Nick talked about starting their own business and it seemed a logical combination to set up their own business selling coffee.

I sat opposite Mike Myers in a restaurant in Fiji. I was too nervous to talk to him as he looks way more serious in real life than he comes across in films.

Red wine – I am hoping to mature with age.
If you were an animal what would you be and why?
A human – I couldn’t live without opposable thumbs.

Did you on the news, a plane crashed into someone’s house…. Apparently they had left the landing light on.
Vishal
Vishal is a Marketing student at Aston University who doesn’t much like coffee- that is almost a crime at Co-Go! But we let him off because he loves our Nutella hot chocolate.

Dermot O’Leary in London, me and a friend ran after him with a camera. Recently I met Travie McCoy in a lift in Selfridges but his security wouldn’t let us take any pictures.

Playing the piano /going out in Birmingham’s night-life.

Coffee is actually a fruit.

An espresso shot so I could have boundless energy!

A bird so I could fly but not a pigeon!
Caz
Caz is our longest serving barista and makes a very good flat white so I’m told. Co-Go’s very own fashionista, as well as always being well dressed she is always wearing a smile. Caz is in her second year of studying Fashion Design at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design.
If you were a drink what would you be and why?
A skinny latte with a shot of caramel, quite skinny, quite sweet and occasionally gets the shot of energy.

Recently Vivienne Westwood and George Lamb at graduate fashion week.
Hobbies/ enjoy?
Horse riding, sleeping, socialising and eating out.
