Co-Go Coffee was created by two entrepreneurial Aston University graduates Nicholas Holzherr and Simon McCann. Both being avid fans of quality coffee, Nick and Simon felt there was a niche in the market for high quality coffee at a reasonable price. Inspiration for the company developed during their time at university and upon graduation they began their coffee adventure and started building Co-Go. The duo knew it would require a lot of hard work and dedication but they believed in their business idea and were given their first permanent location by Aston University. They had to start small, when the completion of their bespoke 4 metre tall coffee cup shaped Pod was delayed they put their coffee machine on a table and started trading anyway. After a couple of months an upgrade was made to the Co-Go Tuk Tuk which is now used for events. January 2010 marked the arrival of the Pod and Co-Go began trading as had been originally envisioned. Despite humble beginnings they have ambitions for Co-Go to become a coffee empire one day and they are contentiously looking for ways to expand and develop the Co-Go brand. The business is now in its second year and after a lot of hard work and a little luck the business has gone from strength to strength and continues to grow.
